Aid Station Driving Directions

Crew are welcome at these Aid Stations, but no other aid stations:
For the 50k Aid #4 at mile 25
For the 25k Aid at mile 10.2 (Aid #4 for 50k, Aid #2 for 25k) Taneum Creek

**NO CREWING outside of aid stations listed above!  Main reason is that gates block roads to the other aid stations.  Runners must carry their own supplies/water between aid stations. And no, you don't need crew for this race, it's just a way for family to participate if they like.  

DIRECTIONS
From Start of Race to Aid #1, mile 9.6 (50k), mile 7.6 (25k).
Driving Time: 45 minutes. Total Miles: ~11.3


1. From Race Start take Road 3300 uphill, this is the road that runs up above the Taneum Junction Campground. There will be several forks in the road, but just stay on this main road for ~9.5 miles.


After ~9.5 miles, take a RIGHT on Road 114.


From Road 114, you will drive 2.6 miles to almost the top of the ridge. You’ll pass signs for Aid Station #4 after just 0.2 of a mile on your way up the road. Keep going.


Look for a sign that says “Aid Station #1” and the Aid Station tables and water bottles on the right hand side of the road.

Parking is just past the Aid Station tables.


From Start of Race to Aid # 2, mile 14.5 (50k only)
Driving Time: 1 hr, Total Miles: 15.6 miles


From Race Start take Road 3300 uphill, this is the road that runs up above the Taneum Junction Campground. There will be several forks in the road, but just stay on this main road.


You will get to a gate after about ~11.2 miles. Use the key to unlock it. LEAVE GATE UNLOCKED for Glenn (photographer) so he can get through later.  


After the gate, you'll drive 4.4 miles to the Aid Station Location. It's marked with a sign saying "Aid Station #2" and there's a table and water jugs.  This aid station is a great view on a sunny day!


Aid Station #4, mile 25 (50k) mile 10.2 (25k)
Driving Time: 30 minutes. Miles from the start: ~9.5 miles


1. From Race Start take Road 3300 uphill, this is the road that runs up above the Taneum Junction Campground. There will be several forks in the road, but just stay on this main road for ~9.5 miles.


2. Take a RIGHT on Road 114 after ~9.5 miles. Aid Station is just a little ways down this road (about 0.2 miles) on the right.  You’ll see a trail turning off the road on the right.  The aid station is just a 1/10 of a mile down this trail. The aid station tables and water are already set up.
