Day of Race

Bib Pickup

Bib numbers will be available at the starting line Saturday morning from 6:30 am till 7:45 am. 25k can pick up bibs until 8:45am. 

The Start

The race will start at 8:00 am for the 50k. 9am for the 25k.  Driving time from I-90 is about 30 minutes as you are on roads with a low speed limits (watch out for deer and elk on the road). Please allow enough time to drive safely and arrive in time to check in.

Parking At The Start

Saturday is National Public Lands day and parking will be free, but only for Saturday (race day). You need a Forest Service Day Use parking pass to park any other day ($5). Parking area is at the Taneum Junction Camp at the junction of rd 33 and trails 1363 and 1326. Please leave the starting area free of cars so runners can check-in and volunteers can do their thing with out having to worry about cars.

Crew

Crew are welcome at these Aid Stations, but no other aid stations:
For the 50k Aid #4 at mile 25
For the 25k Aid at mile 10.2 (Aid #4 for 50k, Aid #2 for 25k) Taneum Creek
**NO CREWING outside of aid stations listed above!  Runners must carry their own supplies/water between aid stations. And no, you don't need crew for this race, it's just a way for family to participate if they like.

Finish Line Party

The post race meal will begin around 11:30am. We will have a BBQ, local keg of beer, and lots of other great drinks.  Everyone gets to eat including friends and family. Bring lawn chairs to make yourself comfortable as we cheer in the other runners, enjoy each others company and take in the views.

Awards Ceremony

We will have an Awards Ceremony once we have the top 3 runners in each distance finishing. Age group awards are given out throughout the day.
