CLE ELUM RIDGE 25k & 50k--- September 23rd, 2017
Registration Opens March 2 at 5pm. We will have day of race registration as well. All finishers receive a finisher's medal! First 75 registered runners receive a pint glass.
Welcome to Washington's 2nd oldest and classic ultra! Join fellow runners on the 20th annual Cle Elum Ridge 50k and 5th annual 25k. The Cle Elum Ridge trail races boast beautiful scenery along with challenging terrain. There's approximately 7000 feet of elevation gain for the 50k and 3700 feet of gain for the 25k.
Limited Entry: Race is limited to 300 runners between the 25k and 50k, that's a total of 150 runners per distance. We recommend you sign up ahead of time to guarantee that you get in the race. Online registration ends at 10:00pm on September 15, 2017. We will have day of race registration if there is still space.

Where: Wenatchee National Forest, south of Cle Elum, WA. The Start/Finish area is at the Taneum Junction Campground and the courses use the following trails: the South Cle Elum Ridge(#1326) and the North Fork Taneum Creek (#1377). T-Shirts: An athletic t-shirt with the race logo on the front and the elevation profile on the back. Available in men's and women's sizes. Shirts can be purchased in advance for $25 through Ultrasignup when you register for the race, or $30 day of race. We do not mail shirts, you must pick them up at the race. We also do not refund shirts. Please realize you are taking a risk when you buy one that you may not attend the race and therefore will not be able to pick it up. Cost: Includes post race meal for you and your family, a finisher medal for finishers and fully marked course.
Early Bird Registration, Price from March-April 30: $70 for 25k, $85 for 50k
Regular Registration, May 1-July 31: $80 for 25k, $95 for 50k
Late Registration, August 1-Sept 15: $90 for 25k, $105 for 50k
What's at the Aid Stations
We will have energy gels, candy, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fruit (most likely bananas and watermelon), potato chips, Electrolytes, soda, and cookies. There will also be plain water and water with electrolyte Brew at all the aid stations. Aid station labeled "water only" will only have water.

Only allowed at the first aid station and finish line.
Drop bags should be no larger than a shoe box. You don't need drop bags but some people are particular about what they eat/drink or they want some extra clothes on the course. Please note that you are responsible to remember to pick up your drop bag from the finish line after the race. We do not send drop bags if you leave them, they are donated to a local charity or thrown away depending on how gross they are.
Drop bags must be brought to the start of the race by a certain time, see the times listed below so you know when to get your bags to the start/finish.
If you bring them after the time listed below, we cannot bring them to the aid for you. You may not be able to pick up the drop bags until the aid station is closed, so be prepared to wait or drive to the aid to get it. Please do not leave valuables in your drop bags!
AID #1, mile 9.6 for 50k, mi 7.6 for 25k: drop bags must be left at the start/finish by 7:15am (Aid closes around Noon, back to the finish line by 1-3pm).
Finish Line: You may leave a drop bag at the start for after the race.
Cutoff Time: 5:30 pm (9.5 hours).
50k Aid Station Cutoffs:
Aid Station 2, mile 14.5: 12:30pm, 4.5 hrs
Aid Station 4, mile 25: 3pm, 7 hrs
25k Aid Station Cutoffs:
Taneum Creek Aid, mile 9.6: 3pm, same as 50k distance
All finishers will receive finisher's medal!
For the 25k and 50k we provide awards to first place finishers for men and women in each age group. You must be present to receive your award. Overall Winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age categories are as follows:
0-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Awards will be given to 5, 10 and 15 year finishers.
Post Race Food/Festivities: We'll have a post race BBQ at no extra cost to you or your family. Awards ceremony, as described above. Live band at the finish!
